Back Back Jungle Ventures launches program to invest in early-stage startups

Singapore-based Jungle Ventures on Wednesday said it has launched First Cheque@Jungle, a programme to invest at least $2 million as seed funding in early-stage startups.

As part of the programme, the venture capital firm would seek 50% of the investment as equity and the remainder in no-cap convertible notes. A convertible note cap, a common practice in venture capital, is the maximum valuation at which the investment made via the convertible note can convert into equity.
